Game of thrones ends this weekend and it’s hard to believe we’ve already gone through a whole season. I’ve joked with friends about how time seems to move faster the older we get. I don’t know if it’s our brains playing games on us or the earth truly does seem to revolve a bit faster to which I swear I heard there is actually an occurrence of this with the earth… a topic to be discussed at another time.
So much however does seem to be happening all at once and I’m sure its just me since I tend to prefer biting off more than I can chew. I like to have multiple projects going on at the same time which most likely explain how days escape me and when days upon days escape you, soon weeks escape you and so on…
I like this shot because I was literally standing next to him when I took it. I think I was on 34th street and 7th ave and I had just come of the Highline walk which now ends closer to 33rd st.
I often capture people at this proximity with out them knowing or if they are aware they make no gestures or inclination to let me know that they know.
He’s thinking of something, what? I don’t know. but the stop light has bought him time. It buys us all time before we continue on with our journey. One of these days, I think I’ll just wait for a few stop lights to come and go. Gather myself, who knows, maybe another intriguing subject will walk up into my view while I take a moment…
