the look on Flickr.
New York is a crowded city and with that comes the learning curve. The learning curve of patience. It’s by no means the most crowded city but it is damn crowded. We walk shoulder to shoulder all the time which is never more apparent in the crowded subway. We live in small apartments and pay high rents which is all meant to condition us to the much smaller outside as you walk shoulder to shoulder. We learn how to walk and like our cab drivers we all know our lanes despite the speed at which we move. When it gets hot, you metal gets tested. There are several visual cues exercised before an altercation occurs which the other person if alert will take notice of and react accordingly based on their own state of mind.
One of them is the look to which I give you exhibit A.
