A reflection of rain on Flickr.

So, I just finished watching Midnight in Paris, another great Woody Allen movie. I love the line about how the streets look better in the rain. I have to say I completely concur with that. I love how greener the leaves look after the rain and rich in vibrancy that the contrast against the clouds paints the surreal picture you just want to touch delicately as not to ruin it.
I get conscious at times when walking around with my camera as a new yorker, we’re always trying to avoid looking like a tourist, but a photographer has to be looking at everything at all times. I shoot architectural shots often so I’m always looking up…When it rains, I’m always looking down, looking for that perfect reflection. I don’t really consider this shot as such but I’m sure the more I shoot the closer I will get to that perfect reflection shot.
Go and see Midnight in Paris if you haven’t already, I’ve only been there once and wasn’t there long enough but I think I would probably go into photographic sensory overload with all that is there to see.
